April 4, 2009 - The 2003 GT Convertible becomes a 'One Of A Kind' Pink & Powerful Pony!

It's been awhile since we updated the 'Project Lucy' page...The work has continued on 'Lucy' and one of the final pieces we've been waiting for arrived in March 2009! We had custom made 'Pink Chrome' wheels created for the little girl! She's sporting new 20" X 9" shoes on the front and 20" X 10" high heels on the rear! Many Thanks to HD Wheels out of Plant City, FL! If you wanted to see a 'Ladies' Mustang...Here she is! She's ready for the 2009 show car season!

February 24,2008 - Lucy's 2008 transformation begins!

The 2003 Mustang GT convertible is on pace to shock the 2008 show car circuit this year! The car is being transformed into a powerful 'Girlie' car this year! Here's the most recent work completed! The pink racing stripes were added today along with the hood scoop decals and the Ford Racing 'Girlie' pink! Let the competition begin!

September 15,2007 - Lucy's takes home her 2nd trophy of the 2007/2008 season!

We brought Lucy up to a competitive car show level over the off-season and Lucy has her 2nd trophy out of 2 shows we attended this season already! We wiped and polished for over 2 hours at the Orlando 9/11 Memorial show this morning to compete with the 'Big Boys' and it worked! The YNR girls took home a couple beautiful 'Top 100 In Show' plaques from the show!

August 19,2007 - I installed Lucy's new 20's this weekend! From COOL to HOT in one afternoon!

We added new 20" Boss Motorsports rims to the Roush Mustang this weekend...That means that 'Lucy' gets the 20" Cobra R's as a hand me down...How bad can that be with 5,000 miles on them! I hope he replaces more on his Roush this year and those parts fit my 2003!

May 28,2007 - The "Pampering" continues...

We totally cleaned the under carriage over the last month...I think you could eat of the frame at this point! The extra detailing of the engine compartment and suspension components has definitely paid off for the shows! Lucy has taken home 2 show trophies in the last 60 days! April 8,2007 - The State of the Lucy Nation...

It's been awhile since I've updated the 'Project Lucy' blog! First of all, below is a picture of the new billet items we added to Lucy. She's coming around nicely! I've been putting together a wish list of items that will end up 'prettying' up Lucy. I'm thinking more interior add-ons, under hood jewelry, a little exterior piece here and there and a new exhaust... yeah my girl needs a sweeter sound! It will take some time since deciding on the right accessories can take weeks LOL but we'll get there :)

Lucy has been entered in two shows so far. The first one was a Ford powered show sponsored by the Mid-Florida Mustang Club. The second one was today at the Mount Dora Flea market. Doing the shows is fun but it is so surprising that she's done so good. I know Lucy is a clean charming girl but since she's an '03 I never hope for the best... Well, she's taken home trophies both times!

March 16,2007 - Here's my Valentines Gift!

Yeah, you would think a chick would love flowers or jewelry for Valentines Day but not me. All I wanted was something for my precious Lucy. Well, my wish was granted because I got hood struts for my Mustang!

February 27,2007 - Lucy's first purchase and gifts!

Lucy's first gift and first mod was the AC panel, AC buttons and Radio button.  They rock! Her personality is coming around. The first purchase we did for her were new shoes. A girl always needs new shoes. We bought her two different pairs. She has 245/45/R17 in the front and 275/40/R17 in the back. 

December 12,2006 - We added another Pony to the YNR Motorsports stable!

When you've been a one mustang (The Baby) show car couple for a couple years....The urge to have another child overcomes you! Congratulations! It's a girl! We're now proud owners of a 2003 Mustang GT Premium Convertible! The best part is that there was no hospital stay and she sleeps through the night! Here's the pics of our newborn....Her name is Lucy! The ROUSH(Eleanor) and the GT(Lucy) seem to be getting along so far!
